The Syrian-American Medical Center project (SAMC) is the first of its kind in Syria. It was initiated by a group of highly skilled, visionary, US-based Syrian physicians with one objective: introducing and providing outstanding standards of medical treatment and care that will bring significant benefit to the local population.

The plans call for a 200-bed hospital, specialist medical clinics and diagnostic services. The medical center will run with state of the art equipment and technology, and will be staffed by well trained medical practitioners and nurses who will meet the highest international standards of medical care. SAMC will aim to be a top ranking centre of excellence and to become Syrians’ and the region’s first choice for treatment. The hospital will be the first Syrian hospital seeking JCI accreditation.
